Course Description

This course will provide learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand the need for advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) in modern vehicles, diagnose a variety of ADAS, repair a variety of ADAS, and calibrate ADAS. Learners will gain an understanding of the importance of ADAS in modern vehicles, including the benefits for driver safety and convenience. Students will also receive an introduction to a variety of ADAS types, their components, as well as the various methods of diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating each system. Through hands-on activities, learners will gain the skills necessary to diagnose, repair, and calibrate a variety of ADAS systems.

Level 3 apprentice or higher in the trades of Auto Body and Collision Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, or Truck and Transport Mechanic.
