Camp VCC

Held at Vancouver Community College’s Downtown campus and led by passionate, experienced VCC summer camp counselors, and supported by educators, our week-long camps are designed to inspire and empower children 7-12 years of age with hands-on learning.

August 18 – August 22, 2025

  • Mixed Bag: A Textile and Sewing Camp (Ages 9–12)
  • Campers will explore simple mending and sewing techniques, experiment with surface design, and create their own patchwork tote bags. At week’s end, they’ll showcase their unique creations, leaving with a one-of-a-kind bag and a variety of new skills.

August 25 – 29, 2025

  • Circuit Masters (9-12 years olds)
  • Dive into hands-on fun as campers build and test two awesome projects: a fully functional weather station to track temperature, humidity, and pressure, and a mini smart car that follows lines and navigates obstacles. No experience needed! At the end of the week campers will take home their weather station and programmable smart car.

Camps Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Before & After Care: Available from 8 - 9 a.m. and 3 - 5 p.m. for a small additional fee. Limited spaces available; subject to confirmation.
