Course Description

Students are introduced to the subdivision and topology components of modeling by building a hand and head based on existing or original designs. Other areas of study covered include low/high resolution switching, symmetrical modeling, understanding pole vertices and box vs. patch modeling techniques. Using available character models as a base, students learn to build clothing, hair, and other props for use in their animation assignments.
