Course Description

This course introduces students to the fashion retail landscape and the key components of launching and managing a successful retail business. Through applied projects and industry-based scenarios, students evaluate various retail strategies, design a fashion retail concept that integrates physical and digital environments, and learn leadership practices that support team development, accountability, and brand alignment. Students also explore emerging retail technologies, and the use of data and budgets to inform decision-making. By the end of the course, students will develop a customer-centric approach that balances operational performance and profitability with social and sustainable responsibility.
