Course Description

Students are introduced to Video Editing in Premiere, understanding settings and importing and manipulating material. Through a series of basic exercises students learn how to set up and save a project file, import and adjust preferences for media files, as well as technically edit, create camera moves, and add transition to the media.
This workshop is delivered prior to the assignments in Story - Visual Language 2, when students will be creating story reels for assignments and a short film. The knowledge gained from this course will also be applied to student animatics, a history project, and their final demo reel.
