Course Description
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of contract law essentials. Students will understand the key elements of forming a contract, including consensus, consideration, capacity, legality, and intention. Students will be able to analyze situations that could impact a contract's validity or enforceability, such as mistake, misrepresentation, duress, and undue influence. Students will explore contractual relationships, including the concepts of privity and assignment. They will learn about various circumstances that can terminate contracts, such as performance, breach, discharge, and frustration.
