VCC has partnered with DigiBC on one of seven post-secondary micro-credential programs for the creative technology sector.
What you will learn
For those reskilling from adjacent industries to trained programmers or designers looking to successfully transition into project management roles, this award of achievement will provide learners with the industry-identified skills of team management, interpersonal relations, project and task management, reporting, and communication, all within the context of the gaming industry.
What to expect
The micro-credential will be offered part-time to support working professionals who are seeking reskilling and upskilling opportunities for their career.
Classes will be a combination of face-to-face and fully online in a blended model, delivered by instructors and guest speakers with working experience in this field.
Instruction will emphasize practical skills and knowledge development through interactive and collaborative learning activities, including case studies and independent research.
