What you will learn

 Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 
  • Conceptualize and plan events, photo shoots and visual presentations
  • Analyze fashion events, styling practices, and visual display strategies by examining their elements, purposes, historical influences, and impact on audience engagement and brand identity.
  • Create compelling visual experiences, communicate narratives, and enhance brand identity across diverse fashion contexts.
  • Assess sustainable and inclusive approaches in fashion presentations to inform creative strategies.
  • Demonstrate professional standards while developing budgets, promotional strategies, sponsorship proposals, and client-focused styling solutions.
 

What to expect

 

This part-time program uses a flexible, applied learning approach. Courses are delivered through a combination of in-person, blended, and online formats and can be taken in any order, individually, or complete all three courses to obtain the Award of Achievement.
Students can expect a culture of:

  • Feedback: Learning to respond and offer feedback, amassing feedback from a variety of sources, and making it actionable.
  • Individualized learning: A journey of self discovery, learning plans that include intentions and goals, check-ins and feedback, integration and implementation.
  • Self-directed career development: Collecting classroom experiences to create portfolios, resumes, cover letters, and/or entrepreneurial skills; and an optional practicum.
  • Community: Student learning groups that work together, industry introductions, and a program hub.
