What you will learn
- Identify elements of the building service industry
- Illustrate concepts of sanitation and cleaning
- Operate residential and commercial cleaning equipment
- Perform the safe handling of cleaning agents
- Employ cleaning techniques to clean carpets, floors, windows and washrooms
- Recognize the factors involved in operating a contract cleaning business
- Clean and sanitize in a Healthcare environment

- One week, in person, off-site practicum
- Online classes
- Learning handouts
- Final exam
- Wearing uniforms and/or personal safety clothing or equipment, including closed-toe shoes.
- Travel to practicum sites
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
