The StrongerBC Future Skills Grant

The StrongerBC future skills grant is open to British Columbians aged 19 years or older, regardless of financial need. The grant supports learners to take eligible short-term skills training to upgrade their skills and further their careers, giving them access to well-paid, high-opportunity jobs.

The future skills grant covers up to $3,500 of eligible costs for the following courses and programs offered through VCC Continuing Studies:

Applications for the future skills grant are submitted through EducationPlanner BC.

  • Sign up for your EducationPlanner BC account or login
  • Select VCC as your institution
  • Click Program Selection
    • For: What category best describes you? Choose: Future skills grant Applicant
    • For: What level of study are you interested in? Choose: Future skills grant Programs or Future skills grant Courses
    • For: Select your program. Choose: your program or the type of courses you are interested in
  • Click Additional Information
    • Confirm your eligibility and answer all questions
    • If you are taking courses, make your course selection
  • Click Save
  • Click Review and Submit

Once your application is submitted you can expect an email response from our team within 5 business days.
