Course Description

An examination of corporate law including choice of business organization and jurisdiction, incorporating and organizing a British Columbia company under the Business Corporations Act, corporate maintenance (annual reports and records books), and transactions (appointing directors, allotting and transferring shares). Prerequisites: Agency and Business Structures (LEGL 1210). Corporate (OACP 1115) strongly recommended for students without corporate experience.
